Position: Contract – Long termBauhaus Recruitment is resourcing on behalf of one of our esteemed clients, who are actively seeking experienced Data Cabling Engineers for contract positions in Portsmouth. Job Description:
Successful candidates will be involved in:
• Installing and terminating data cabling network infrastructure
• Installing containment systems, APs, and other devices
• Completing associated paperwork and adhering to project deadlines
• Creating and understanding site-specific risk assessments
• Maintaining regular contact with customers to ensure their needs are met
Candidate Qualifications and Attributes:
• ECS Card is required
• At least 5 years of experience in data cabling installation, termination, and testing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive representation of the company
• Proficiency in reading and working with schedules and diagrams
• Basic IT and networking skills
• Skilled with a range of hand and power tools
• Must possess a complete set of personal hand and power tools
• Driver's Licence
