Role overview
Successful candidates will be required for oversight of several teams of Data Cabling Engineers working across the Midlands and North of England on the installation of a new network of structured cabling infrastructure on various sites across these areas.
  • Deliver technical solutions to both internal and external customers
  • Responsible for day to day management of regional engineering teams both internal and sub-contract partners.
  • Providing support to teams with advice on instruction on the delivery of jobs
  • Complete associated paperwork including checking engineer certifications, signing off timesheets, collecting mileage forms, checking engineers’ paperwork.
  • Checking job packs to ensure design and installation meets correct specifications.
  • Support with Health and Safety requirements, equipment, and tooling
  • Provide support with the training and development plans of engineers under your care
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained
 
Must have:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in structured cabling installation
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a supervisor
  • Driving Licence
  • H&S Certification eg. SSSTS/ IOSH/ ECS Card
