- Bauhaus Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Field Engineers in the London and Southeast region with a background in Data Cabling, Wi-Fi, and Network Installation.
In addition to Data Cabling, Wi-Fi, and Network Installation, this role presents opportunities for exposure to other disciplines such as CCTV, Alarms, Audio Visual, and IT Networking. Our company will provide the requisite training and support to aid in the development of your skill set.
Responsibilities include installing and testing data cabling, coms cabinets, Wi-Fi access points, repairing Cat 5e, Cat 6, and fibre if needed. Finding the best routes to run additional cabling, keeping aesthetics in mind, and minimising exposed cables is crucial. The role requires traveling to various customer sites in the hospitality sector to perform general maintenance, site surveys, and full cable installations for EPOS, Network CCTV, and Audio Visual. The working hours are 08:00 – 16:00 plus overtime. Company van & fuel cards are provided.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in similar environments, with expertise in data installations (Cat 5e, Cat 6, and fibre) and cable fault finding on all provided equipment. Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and a positive attitude are essential, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a professional approach is a must.
Requirements include a full UK driving license, ECS, and CSCS. Starting salary is between £32,000 to £38,000.
