We are currently resourcing for CAD / Revit Mangers on a permanent basis in Central London.
Ideal candidate
IT operations are a crucial aspect of all organisations and it is crucial that that business continuity is maintained at all times at the same time as allowing the ongoing upgrade of the voice and data infrastructure. This is a great opportunity to work within a leading technology consultancy. As the CAD / Manager you would be leading a small growing team.- The main responsibilities will be to lead the CAD team and taking responsibility for the quality control and quality assurance
- Lead the CAD standards and management of document repository
- The production of detailed IT/AV or Security Drawings such as Floor Plans, Block Plans, Schematics, Cabinet/Frame Layouts, Densities, Detail Drawings and Isometric Diagrams
- Responsible for providing CAD / Revit software support throughout all the business sectors
- To accurately apply predefined Design / CAD standards to Architectural drawings on multiple projects
- Ability to manage change and work to tight deadlines on multiple projects
- Responsible for setting up and coordinating a CAD Protocol and Execution Plan for a given project.
Candidate qualifications and attributes
- Proficient in use of AutoCAD and Revit (with at least 6 years’ experience)
- Ideally the candidate will have worked on IT, AV and Security drawings within office fitout, refurbishment or relocation projects and have exposure to RIBA work stages.
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and strong critical reasoning.
- Experience working in a team leader/management role
- Microsoft products – Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint.
- BIM360 and other document management software
- Bluebeam
- Computer literate
- Organisation and task management
- Good inter-personal skills
- Communication
- Work well under pressure
